Location, location, location! Students in the Geoinformatics program at OU study the science and technology of gathering, analyzing, interpreting, distributing, and using geographic information. Geographic Information Science includes studies of geographic information systems (GIS), remote sensing and global positioning systems (GPS) technologies. It is by nature multidisciplinary and integrates methods from many fields in order to solve problems and understand human and physical systems.
